Project Manager

We are seeking a project manager with 2+ years of experience to join our growing design team.

Project managers at Spaeth Hill will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of branding, wayfinding, and experiential graphic design (EGD) projects. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the planning, coordination, and delivery from initiation to completion. You will collaborate closely with clients, designers, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are executed according to the highest standards of quality, within budget, and on schedule.

Responsibilities

Project Planning and Coordination: Collaborate with clients and internal teams to hold projects to their scope, objectives, and deliverables. Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines and oversee resource allocation aligned by budget estimates. Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.

Client Management: Serve as the main point of contact to clients, maintaining regular communication to understand their goals and expectations. Actively manage client relationships, provide updates on project progress, and address any concerns or issues that may arise. Strive to exceed client expectations and deliver exceptional customer service.

Project Execution: Oversee the day-to-day execution of projects, ensuring that tasks are completed on time, within budget, and in line with the Spaeth Hill North Star. Collaborate with designers, architects, and contractors to ensure smooth and timely coordination and integration of design elements into the built environment. Monitor project milestones, identify potential risks or challenges, and proactively implement appropriate solutions. Foster collaboration among cross-functional teams to ensure seamless workflow and effective problem-solving.

Budget and Resource Management: Develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenses and resource allocation throughout the project lifecycle. Identify and address resource gaps or constraints, making necessary adjustments to optimize project efficiency.

Quality Assurance: Maintain a high level of quality control throughout all project phases. Review design deliverables to ensure they meet client requirements, industry standards, and Spaeth Hill’s design principles. Conduct regular project reviews and evaluations to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in project management, design, architecture, or a related field.

2+ years proven experience as a project manager, preferably in a design agency or construction company setting.

Understanding of branding, wayfinding, and EGD principles.

Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients, designers, architects, and contractors.

Proficiency in project management software and tools.

Attention to detail and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality results.

Problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.

Understanding of how a design agency operates and familiarity with design processes.
