We are seeking a project manager with 5+ years of experience to join our design team.
Project Managers at Spaeth Hill play an essential role in guiding branding, wayfinding, and experiential graphic design (EGD) projects from start to finish. This position requires a strong sense of organization, clear communication, and the ability to manage complex timelines, budgets, and teams, while keeping design integrity front and center. The ideal candidate is collaborative, detail-oriented, and confident, navigating fast-paced, creative environments. You’ll work closely with clients, designers, architects, and contractors to ensure each project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standard. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys leading with clarity, building strong relationships, and seeing thoughtful design come to life.
Project Planning and Coordination
Collaborate with clients and internal teams to hold projects to their scope, objectives, and deliverables. Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines and oversee resource allocation aligned by budget estimates. Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
Client Management
Serve as the main point of contact to clients, maintaining regular communication to understand their goals and expectations. Actively manage client relationships, provide updates on project progress, and address any concerns or issues that may arise. Strive to exceed client expectations and deliver exceptional customer service.
Project Execution
Oversee the day-to-day execution of projects, ensuring that tasks are completed on time, within budget, and in line with the Spaeth Hill North Star. Collaborate with designers, architects, and contractors to ensure smooth and timely coordination and integration of design elements into the built environment. Monitor project milestones, identify potential risks or challenges, and proactively implement appropriate solutions. Foster collaboration among cross-functional teams to ensure seamless workflow and effective problem-solving.
Budget and Resource Management
Develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenses and resource allocation throughout the project lifecycle. Identify and address resource gaps or constraints, making necessary adjustments to optimize project efficiency.
Quality Assurance
Maintain a high level of quality control throughout all project phases. Review design deliverables to ensure they meet client requirements, industry standards, and Spaeth Hill’s design principles. Conduct regular project reviews and evaluations to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.
